Homeschool Curriculum
These are some of our favorite choices for homeschool curriculum. When I initially made the decision to educate my son at home, I was overwhelmed by the huge selection of curriculum available for homeschooling.In addition to traditional textbooks, there are also online lessons, video and computer based lessons, as well as design-your-own-curriculum options. One can easily gather enough information to create suitable lessons, just by borrowing great books from the library, watching educational programming on television, and visiting educational websites.
I asked a lot of questions to fellow home educators, read several books, and selected the curriculum that seemed most interesting, and appropriate for my gifted teenager. I hope that our suggestions will be helpful to other homeschoolers, and I welcome your comments and suggestions, as well.
